The Janus Arms full plan

Thankfully I know some very good witchdoctors.

So here it is, the Janus Arms, my British style pub that makes it's home in Curiah City as a center for drinking, wasting time and general schenanigans. Run by bubbly mumu straight-transvestite Bernie the pub offers a place for people to unwind and chill...a place where everybody knows your name (dum dum dee dum) and they're always glad you ca-.....sorry

Oh god this picture hurt me. It's got many different facets including the general pictures, the pub sign, the layout, the character drawings, and they all had to be put together and layed out in a way that makes sence all the while making my computer whine, grunt and occationally squeal with the effort. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY TIMES I RESIZED THIS BEAST

And I HATE drawing buildings ;0; I really suck at it...why did I have to make a building?! i have to draw ANGLES...and STRAIGHT LINES >____<

But that's all in the past ^_^ JOOOOY!

I really wanted to do this just so people could get an image of what the JA looks like, because there are many people who have never been to a british pub, and there ARE differences between Pubs and bars or clubs.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1) The people included in this pic are either my own characters or the characters of friends who have been close fans/supporters of the JA from the early days...namely ~Lex-the-Dark, *stressedjenny, *Kivs-Chan, *BeatGuy and naturally `delya. Hence their inclusion in this pic. If for whatever reason you don't want your character to be related to the JA then please let me know and i'll clip your character out

2) Inclusion in this pic =/= an automatic role in the CC comic. That's for Delya to decide, not me. I'm just doing this pic for my friends and myself and to give people an idea of the pub and who works there. I hope that's clear to everyone, THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL ARTWORK.

3) Jessie and Jerome were originally the creations of `snowkatt101, who chose to retire from the CC universe. Since Jessie and Jerome had both been background characters without much story i asked if i could take them on and she said yes So they're mine now. I've updated their designs every so slightly (especially Jerome) to keep them up to date with style updates.

4) If you wish to draw your characters in the JA for whatever reason then go right ahead, i'd love to see what you come up with. Bear in mind through if you've not chatted to me about your characters having a job in the JA then please don't suddenly make your character a member of the barstaff


Interesting facts:

- Arnham Stikes, the deceased previous owner,'s design was loosely based on the mythical Green Man but MORE inspired by THIS GUY:

Isn't he awesome?

- The name Janus Arms comes from the roman god Janus the god of Doorways. It's symbolic of the pub having it's doors open to all walks of life, and having knowlage of the past to make way in the future.

- The pub sells alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, a range of hot drinks (coffee, tea etc), and bar snacks like fries, pretzels, peanuts, sandwiches etc

- Bar entertainment includes pools tables, arcade machine, dart board and (upon special request) a karoke machine!
