Inspired by :iconstressedjenny:'s octo-gals, :icondelya:'s strangely sexy Driver Zed, the plushie magics of :iconkickass-peanut: and an involved chitchat with :icon203y: about my squidly alien girl Ika, i was inspired to make this little doodle of lovely :D

New addition to Ika's character. She still works in her brother's coffee shop, and hates her job, but in her free time she makes cute plushies out of recycled fabrics. Yasee Ika is pretty handy with her...hands...and those tentacles of hers are pretty nifty with a needle too. from darning socks to designing and making her own outfit to wear in the cafe (anything to spice up her otherwise dull day), Ika likes to make things from scratch.

But there's a little more to it. Once she's made the dolls she sells them online to buyers from all over the galaxy...she's earnt herself a funny sort of following because of her one-of-a-kind cute toys. The money she earns from selling them goes into a special secret fund, and one day she hopes to use it to leave home and explore the galaxy.

And being the mad little stalker fangirly that she is, Ika has made a Zed plushie to pour her heart and soul into when she's feeling down. Innit cute? Doncha want one?

I love this. NEW SHADING TECHNIQUES FTW. And I love Ika's pyjamies. STAR PANTZ :star:

Haha too adorable! I recognize the character now :D And the sewing machine is so cute! She looks so complete now that she has her plushie :giggle: And your description of this is really adorable as well. The coloring is really nice and clean too! Lovely work! :heart:
