Yeeeeeeeey favourite Nymph ♥
I'd like to think that Betilla and her sisters CAN actually hold their own when push comes to shove, powerful magical beings that they are. They just choose not to because they're peaceful goofy nymphs in a magical world of bubble dreams and sunshine, which is why they get themselves captured.
And then someone pushes the wrong buttons and the solids hit the air conditioning.
Trying out some new effects and shading on this picture. REALLY pleased with the result

I rarely write critiques 'cause I don't like to seem pushy, so you can take this or leave it. (but I'm writing one for you because I've always adored you and your artwork <3)
It's been a pleasure watching you grow as an artist in the..what...11 years I've known you? Maybe more? You've come a long way with your poses and coloring. While this one in particular has a wonderfully dynamic pose and mood going on, I feel you could do more with the colors to really bring this to the next level.
The shading feels mostly correct, I have no problems there- but the colors feel flat and dry. A bit too uniform and grey in tone. Don't be afraid to try shading/highlighting with more varying and vibrant tones! Choosing the right colors can drastically improve the impact a piece has.
I whipped up an example in PhotoShop using a few simple gradients over your original piece. Hopefully this helps get my idea across: sta.sh/01w37me27mti
Either way, I still love this to bits and always look forward to seeing new work from you. <3
