...I declare a PLUM WAR

Oh jeeze, i've not been able to look at this picture for a week. Every time i saw it I felt sick to my stomach.

Why? because it was my entry for the Rayman Pirate Community Forums Rayman Origins contest, the theme being 'Team'.

And i tell you, this picture was a nightmare. Coloured with promarkers and countless hours spent cleaning and neatening and shading this monster in photoshop, going through moments of 'OH GOD THIS SUCKS' to the point of considering a complete re-start. And even then I was pretty sure I didn't have a chance in hell considering the excellent standard of entries maintained by Rayman veretans who were also entering (I'm not kidding, i saw the list of entrants and my heart just shrank with fear). Even today when the winners were announced i couldn't face checking the forum, having to fight my nerves all day.

So you can understand I was pretty surprised when I got a first place...

...yeah i'm still feeling a bit sick from squeeing too hard and giving myself a headache

All i can say is...thank you my fellow competitors, to the winners, runners up and all entrants who kept me on my toes. Thank you to Ubisoft and the guys at the Rayman Pirate Community board for picking my piece. Thank you to my family for having faith in my abilities even when I was sure I was going to fail...shows what i know.

And thank you Rayman, for being awesome. I look forward to playing Rayman Origins
