Matthew needs a clothing upgrade....well all my characters do, I'm bored of drawing them all with the traditional 'Rayman circle' on their fronts. But Matthew was the most important one. the long coat thing is ok, but (as pointed out by many) this gives him the appearance of either wearing a nightgown or being a transvestite...and he is in fact neither

SO, I changed his cloud pattened coat to look more like a 'mod' parker jacket (if you're a brit you may know what I'm talking about and if you don't just look at the pic and don't worry too much about it)

I have decided that Matthew will ALWAYS be dressed smartly, no matter what the circumstance...he did go to a very expencive school (don't get the idea that he's an Oxford Snob...he's not, he was just taught in that environment).

His emaculate nature is partly based on a friend from college ( will know who I mean ), but mostly based on Twitch Strummer from the comic book 'Hopeless Savages', who goes around in a suit covered with a parker style jacket...WHEEEE!

The staff was an old idea from a piece of fanart done by . While Matthew's sences are highly tuned in a 'Daredevil' sort of way he needs SOME assistance...and the staff is a total contrast to his outfit

His personality has not changed. He's still quiet and peacefully, strong but kind, and wise. And he can still control the weather (another excuse for the staff)...and he's still blind.

So...what do you guys think of the new Matthew?
