Maltease the fae

Coming up with a collection of characters for a story...thing, and this fairy design popped into my head.  This is the snarky, cynical Maltease.  She thrives on sarcasm and disdain, and like most fae folks spends her time flitting between the trees and conversing with the plants.

Maltease's particular type of fae are attracted to very specific light sources, be it the flicker of glowbugs to the sun streaming through trees.   Their love for that particular type of light feeds their magical abilities.  Maltease is attracted to the light that shines through coloured glass...hence she hangs out in a church with a stained glass window.

Included is a little doodle of how her wings work.  While she normally hovers on air gusts (being so tiny and light) when she needs to move swiftly she can flap her tiny wings, spraying tiny dust motes as she goes
