Because snobbery between the generation fanbases has got to stop.
Me? I grew up with Gen 1, have vague memories of gen 2, was kinda absent for gen 3 and came back in for gen 4 because I really enjoy the show. It is possible to support and respect all the generations even if you didn't grow up with them. And yes, each gen has it's downsides. But the fact is that each and every one of these generations of ponies had fans who love them for different reasons...and we should embrace that
And I'm not saying everyone has to
LIKE all the gens, just accept that some people do and being mean and rude about it to those people just makes you look like a massive tool who needs to get outside more. People will always like stuff you don't like and vice versa,
get over it.
So this is a stamp for all of Hasbro's pony fans. The 80's kids, the 90's kids, the customisers, the collectors, the animation buffs, the fanfic writers, the bronies, the pegasisters, those who are in it for the toys, those who love the animated incarnations, those guys and girls who just want to be part of a culture surrounding these cute, cult, lovable toys for girls, and the future fans for the next generation (whatever that will be!)
Enjoy, my fellow ponyfans
